Terms of Service - Caploc Pro
Effective Date: October 20, 2026. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Caploc Pro mobile application developed by MRK Tamilan.
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Caploc Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not install or use the application.
2. License & Permitted Use
MRK Tamilan grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Caploc Pro on compatible Android and iOS devices for both personal and professional documentation purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or create derivative works of the application without prior authorization.
3. GPS Telemetry & Environmental Factors Disclaimer
GPS coordinate precision, altitude, satellite accuracy margins (±m), and reverse-geocoded addresses depend on your device's physical sensors, atmospheric conditions, satellite visibility, and local geographic features. Caploc Pro is designed for field recording, progress documentation, and reference purposes. It is not certified as a critical life-safety navigation instrument or a legally binding land boundary survey tool.
4. Cartographic Data Attribution
Map previews and tile graphics are sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL). Use of map features is subject to OpenStreetMap attribution standards.
5. Limitation of Liability
Caploc Pro is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MRK Tamilan shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software, inaccuracies in sensor readings, or data loss.
